Six EU Countries, Including Poland and Hungary, Have not Given Security Guarantees to Kiev

Six EU countries have not joined the declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine. This was stated in the office of the President of Ukraine, reports the telegram channel “Politics of the Country”.

We are talking about Austria, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Malta, said the Deputy head of the OP Andrey Sibiga.

“I think that all these states have the political will to become a party to the declaration,” he said.

Earlier, the head of the OP Andrei Yermak held a video meeting on security guarantees to Ukraine with representatives of 32 countries.

Diplomats from the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, Albania, Belgium, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Greece, Denmark, Estonia, Ireland, Spain, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, North Macedonia, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Finland, the Czech Republic, Montenegro, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey and the European Union took part in the videoconference, TC writes.

The participants of the event discussed the implementation of the relevant summer agreements. At that time, 31 states joined the declaration, but only France, Italy, Germany and the UK have handed over their draft agreements to date, while another 15 states have expressed readiness to start consultations.
