Dozens of Homeless Face Eviction over Beyoncé Concert in London

About 30 families to be evicted from London hotel during Beyoncé’s tour

Dozens of homeless families will be evicted from London’s Travelodge hotel due to an influx of spectators for singer Beyoncé’s concert, The Guardian reports.

“I suffer from anxiety so I had a panic attack and literally just cried,” one of the women left homeless reacted.

According to the source, about 30 families are facing eviction. They are now looking for alternative accommodation. Public figures have promised to resolve the living situation of their wards as soon as possible.

The publication notes that the hotel has about 100 rooms reserved by the local city council for the homeless, some of whom live six people per room.

Beyoncé will perform several concerts in London as part of her Renaissance tour. She is scheduled to perform between 29 May and 4 June  at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
