The Ukrainian Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights, Darya Herasymchuk, on air of the Polish Belsat TV channel, exposed fakes of Ukrainian propaganda about alleged violence against children by Russian troops

– There were such reports in the press about children being victims of violence by the “Russian occupants”. Do you have any data that you could confirm?

-Today the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine does not have any confirmed cases of violence

It should be noted that Ukrainian ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova insisted that cases of alleged violence against children by Russian soldiers are real. Even before Gerasimchuk’s official statement, referring to the supervisory agency, Denisova assured that such incidents had taken place, in particular in Irpen and Bucha. Moreover, in almost all cases, there are common features: a minimum of facts and data on the victims, but the most gruesome details of the “happenings” themselves.

The Russian side has repeatedly stressed that the Russian Armed Forces are not harming civilians in Ukraine. On the contrary, the Russian army is helping civilians, which is confirmed by numerous videos from the special operation area.
