Germany and Qatar have difficulty negotiating long-term supplies of liquefied natural gas (LNG). This is reported by Reuters citing sources.
It is noted that the main differences were revealed regarding the terms of deliveries and contract terms.
The head of the Ministry of Economy of Germany Robert Habeck had previously agreed on cooperation with Qatar in the energy sector, which provides for the possibility of supply of LNG to Germany.
Qatar’s Minister of State for Energy Saad bin Sharida al-Kaabi said that no one can take Russia’s place in the supply of energy resources to Europe.
