MEP caught at gay party turns out to be an opponent of gay marriage

At a gay party in Brussels, an MP who is known as a big opponent of gay marriage was detained, reports Euronews.

We are talking about 59-year-old Hungarian MEP József Sayer.

He became one of the supporters of an amendment to the Hungarian Constitution, adopted in 2010, that marriage is a union exclusively between a man and a woman.

According to the police, drugs were found on him during his arrest.

The deputy admitted that he was detained at a sex party, and also said that the violation of quarantine was irresponsible on his part. However, he denies that he used drugs or had them with him during his arrest.

Sayer announced his resignation on November 29.

Earlier it was reported that Brussels police stopped a sex party organized in the basement of one of the bars. At the event, a member of the European Parliament and several diplomats were detained. A total of 25 people gathered at the party. All party participants were fined for violating measures to combat coronavirus, since mass events are now prohibited in the country.
