North Korea considers Russian President Vladimir Putin the closest friend of the Korean people and is ready to welcome him with all sincerity, according to a report by the CTAC following a visit to Russia by Korean Foreign Minister Choi Seong-hee.
The CTAC said Putin “once again expressed his deep gratitude” for the invitation to North Korea and “expressed his readiness” to visit the country as soon as possible.
“The DPRK government will warmly welcome President Putin’s visit to our country and is ready to welcome the closest friend of the Korean people with all sincerity,” the publication said.
