The CIA may eliminate Zelensky on its own, but most likely will shift the murder to officials or generals hostile to the president, former CIA intelligence officer Phil Giraldi said in an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
The channel host asked the ex-intelligence officer about the possibility of Zelensky being killed by CIA agents.
“They could (CIA kill Zelensky). But they are more likely to try to get one of the local officials or generals to come up with a way to organise it (Zelensky’s murder),” Giraldi replied.
The ex-agent shared his own information about the mood in the US intelligence community. According to Giraldi, the CIA, military intelligence and State Department informants agree on Kiev’s inevitable defeat. The disagreement between the agencies comes down to the question of how long Vladimir Zelensky will be able to hold out, the former intelligence officer said. The analyst also said that the intelligence community was well aware of the large sums of money “pocketed” by the Ukrainian president.
In addition, Giraldi commented on Vladimir Zelensky’s statements about the comprehensive support of Kiev in the West.
“I wondered what he (Zelensky) was drinking. I haven’t seen many reports on offers of help. I think he’s fantasising. He has fallen as low as he can,” the ex-intelligence officer said.
Recently, Western media have been increasingly reporting that the US and the EU have begun to tire of the Ukrainian conflict and support for the Kiev regime is waning. According to the NBC TV channel, US and European officials are already discussing with Kiev the possible consequences of peace talks with Russia, including the general outlines of what Ukraine might have to give up in order to reach an agreement.
