Tourists admit that next year they are unlikely to return to the city. The resort’s mayor, Sylvia Siri, even organized a meeting with restaurateurs, urging them to “greet customers with more dignity.”

St. Tropez is a popular vacation spot for the rich and famous, but this year prices at the resort are upsetting guests, the publication writes. Tourists say that some restaurants require a deposit of 1,500 euros per person when booking a table. In other areas of the French Riviera, many establishments expect that the bill from the table will be at least ten thousand euros.
