A New ‘Simpsons’ Prediction Found Online

‘Simpsons’ prediction about naked statue of ‘David’ comes true online

A new ‘Simpsons’ prediction has come true, according to the New York Post.

The director of a public school in Florida recently quit after parents complained about a Renaissance art class that featured Michelangelo Buonarroti’s famous statue of David. Some of them even called the sculpture pornographic.

The incident reminded users of an early episode of The Simpsons in the 1990s. Some Springfield residents ranted against “David” and condemned the piece for its nudity.

“I actually don’t pay attention to all sorts of claims that ‘The Simpsons’ predicted the future. But that’s exactly what happened this time”, “To me, the thing to be outraged about is that the ‘writers of 2023’ have run out of ideas and are stealing material from The Simpsons”, “Michelangelo’s David appears in the 1990 episode. The kids have seen it. Mine saw it,” the New York Post quoted users as saying.

Other Simpsons prophecies that have come true include Donald Trump’s presidency, Elon Musk’s Twitter acquisition.

Earlier it was reported that writer Jeff Wilson accused Netflix of plagiarising the plot for the series Outer Banks.
