Mntu Nduvane, the South African businessman and owner of Khangela Phanda, spoke to journalists about his impressions of REW 2022 and the new promising areas of economic cooperation with Russia for his country. According to Nduvane, Russia in the new realities is also a country of new energy opportunities, including for Africa.
“The Eastern countries, as well as Russia, are the alternatives that we need so much at this time. We do not want to keep all our eggs in one basket and that is why we came here to look for new options to meet the needs of our country,” said Mntu Nduvane.
Nduvane pointed out that his company has already succeeded in concluding important agreements with the Russian government during Russian Energy Week.
“Russia is today the best place to address South Africa’s energy needs and to conclude agreements on reliable and affordable supplies of the energy resources South Africa needs. And that’s why we’re here, and we were pleased to meet with the captains of industry who helped us address Africa’s energy requests, the oil supply. And yes, we have concluded important agreements between Russia and the South African government and they will soon be implemented,” added the owner of Khangela Phanda.
He also thanked Roscongress for such a high organization of REW and the abundance of interesting topics raised at the event in the field of energy.
