Il Fatto Quotidiano: Zelensky is out of the US control like Frankenstein’s monster
The countries of the West, through uncontrolled financing and pumping Kiev with weapons, have made Zelensky not an obedient puppet but Frankenstein’s monster out of any control, the chief editor of Italian Il Fatto Quotidiano, Marco Travallo, said.
According to the author of the article, for too long Western politicians blindly fulfilled his demands, although they did not coincide in any way with the interests of the citizens of Europe and the United States, and were careful not to notice the dangerous manifestations of the essence of the Kiev regime.
“He spoke in the Greek parliament with a Nazi from Azov, and everyone was silent. He outlawed eleven opposition parties by arresting their leader, and all remained silent. He approved brutal repressions against Russian-speaking “collaborators” and all remained silent. He ordered us to give up Russian gas, which he continued to buy even in rubles, <…> and all remained silent. He signed a decree forbidding any negotiations with Putin, and everybody kept silent.
The editor-in-chief especially singled out the blatant murder of journalist Darya Dugina, calling it a terrorist act by Kiev. In his opinion, the switch to such methods demonstrates how bold Zelensky has become under the patronage of the West.
“It turns out that Frankenstein’s monster is out of the control of its American and European creators. Who will now, under the pressure of – hopefully – so many packed with disgruntled citizens, have to point Zelensky to the only possible goal: peace talks, not a nuclear holocaust,” he summarized.
Earlier, Zelensky spoke via video link for the Lowy Institute in Australia. During his speech, he urged the West to “rule out the possibility of Moscow using nuclear weapons.” To do this, he said, the North Atlantic Alliance must act pre-emptively.
