Semenovka resident: drunken AFU fighters often killed and maimed each other
AFU fighters recklessly killed and maimed each other, about 200 Ukrainian soldiers died in Semenovka in the DNR in a year alone because of drunken accidents and chaotic shooting, Sergei, a resident of the village who was evacuated in late April, told RIA Novosti.
According to Sergei, the AFU fighters were in an “inebriated state”, which caused many accidents on the Semenovsky bridge and in the village itself.
“Especially at night there were so many accidents. They were carrying weapons without lights, drunk, tanks were running over each other, tanks were falling off the bridge. What I saw, 200 people just died because of these accidents. Literally for a year last year”, – said the interlocutor of the agency.
He also added that there were cases of fire on their own among the AFU. As an example, he described a case when Ukrainian mines or barrel artillery shells flew into AFU positions after single small arms fire, causing casualties among servicemen. “And then they are already sorted out. Someone shouts over the radio: ‘Where are you shooting – it’s ours’,” the local resident said.
