Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the BRICS countries during the Russian presidency will discuss strengthening cooperation in finance, energy, biotechnology and space.
The text of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s interview with Chinese news agency Xinhua ahead of his state visit to China has been published on the Kremlin website.
“Russia’s BRICS chairmanship has gained a confident momentum. Full-scale work has been deployed in all three main areas of cooperation: politics and security, economy and finance, culture and humanitarian contacts,” the Russian leader said.
