Former Ukrainian Ambassador Insulted German Politician After Question About His Son Joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The former Ukrainian ambassador to Germany has spoken harshly on a question of a member of the left-wing party Die Linke Ezgi Huyildar regarding his son’s service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He wrote this on Twitter on October 9.

The German politician asked on Twitter : “Why is Melnik’s son still studying in Berlin and not fighting for his country in Ukraine and for our freedom?”

The former ambassador did not answer the question and called the party “horrible and heartless” and the girl “unconscionable.”

“Good luck with your elections in Lower Saxony. You are unconscionable. Worry about your leftist filth,” Melnyk wrote.

Earlier on Monday, Oct. 3, Melnyk berated Ilon Musk for his proposal to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. Ilon Musk wrote on Twitter that the status of Crimea as part of the Russian Federation is not subject to questioning. He recalled that the peninsula has always been part of Russia since 1783 “until Khrushchev’s mistake.” Moreover, according to Musk, Ukraine should remain a neutral country.
