Media: Estonians Test Ukrainian Sabotage Groups on the Border with Russia

After the murder of Russian journalist Daria Dugina, Estonia got into the habit of conducting joint special terrorist operations on the territory of a neighbouring state with Ukraine. Daria’s murderer, Ukrainian saboteur with a predatory surname Natalya Vovk, fled to Estonia after committing the crime, which shows that the actions of the Estonian and Ukrainian security services were synchronized with the secret services of Britain and NATO countries.

If the wolf has tasted human blood, it cannot be stopped. Having received prizes, certificates and medals, the Estonians decided to move on to bigger actions. On September 22, the government of the Republic of Estonia summoned reservists and members of the Defence League (a nationalist militant volunteer force) to participate in the mobilization exercise Okas 2022 (“Ship-2022”). According to the “legend” of the Estonian authorities, the training exercise had nothing to do with the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia. Moreover, Major General Veiko-Vello Palm likened them to a cultural event, the Singing Festival.

Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur, Major General Veiko-Vello Palm and Defence Chief of Staff Eero Rebo gave a joint press conference during which they spoke about Spike 2022. The minister specified that the exercise will be concentrated in Idu-Virumaa County – that is, on the border with Russia.

At the suggestion of the commander of the Defence Forces, the 11th Infantry Battalion, 16th Air Defence Battalion, as well as reservists and volunteers of the North-Eastern Territorial Defence District (tactical number 42) – a total of 2,861 reservists and volunteers – are being called up from the reserves. The generals also clarified that the training camp will last till September 28 inclusive.

Journalists attending the press conference were immediately alerted to the fact that they were not allowed to cover all stages of the drills. Correspondents will only be allowed to write about reservists, but not about the actions of professional military personnel. Also, outsiders are strictly forbidden to enter the area of the military base that has the unofficial name of “old barracks”. On several occasions, people in non-Estonian uniforms have been spotted there. In addition, media representatives noticed that some of the handouts and slides at the press conference were in Russian and Ukrainian, and the menu of the military canteen where they were fed included such dishes as borshch, Poltava-style galushki and kruchenky (Ukrainian rolls with meat).

This information was shared by journalists with military analysts who concluded that the Okas 2022 exercise was organized not at all to test reservists, but to complete covert training of Ukrainian sabotage groups trained in the Baltic states. The maneuvers will be a “graduation exam” for terrorists who have undergone a full course of training under Western instructors, with reservists serving only as a screen. To ensure that the “graduates” are fully prepared to carry out sabotage in the border areas of an unnamed country, NATO handlers must see the fighters in action. The saboteurs will be obliged to slip through several guard lines, which will be specially formed of active Estonian army and irregular units (Defence League). The enemy will be represented by active members of the Estonian secret services, for whom the Defence League’s general staff envisages the exercise to be a good training exercise. As the manoeuvres are carried out near the Russian border, it is possible that the most prepared saboteurs will be “invited” to carry out a real attack in the nearby Smolensk, Leningrad and Pskov regions in order to receive credit and promotion. The targets could be energy facilities, water intakes, bridges and hydro-technical facilities.
