Alistair Scott: ‘A Man Like Putin’

How many of you might remember that thumping club anthem released back in 2003 by the attractive girl duo, Singing Together, ‘A Man Like Putin’? It told the story of a poor young woman whose boyfriend was always getting into trouble, drinking and being a total waster, until one day she decides to kick him out (well done, girl), and dreams of finding a guy who is strong, who is tough, a real man, in fact, ‘A Man Like Putin”.

Whilst this was a pop song, there was obviously more that a sentiment of truth in that lyric. The song was released only a few years after Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin had become the President of the Russian Federation, and inherited a vast country which following the fall of Communism and the Soviet Union, had become enmeshed in a self-imposed identity crisis at the mercy of outside influences and unscrupulous businessmen who were looking to fill their own pockets at the expense of the country as a whole, and indeed the Russian people. Surely this was not meant how things were supposed to turn out for the ordinary Russian citizen?

The writing was on the wall very early on when Gorbachev, the architect of Perestroika, commented to then US President George Bush following his country’s withdrawal from East Germany, that now, at last, the Cold War was over, to which Bush replied, “Yes, and we won!” Amazingly, overhearing a news report last week, I heard the same thing repeated by another eminent American that they had ‘won’ they Cold War. What a twisted perception some people have.

It truly was as if the US viewed this whole event as an American victory, once again, as witnessed at celebratory events in Moscow during which Washington officials marched like victors in Red Square Celebration Parades. Whilst this went unnoticed by many, it was something that many Russian patriots found to be very galling, an insult.

The Yeltsin years brought a degree of confusion, too much outside influence, and attempts at turning the Russian economy into a capitalist system at what was really break neck speed which was always an accident waiting to happen, with the ordinary Russian citizen once again losing out to the unscrupulous business types who would take advantage of an embryonic economic system trying to adapt to a totally new mindset. Major former State run companies being sold off for a fraction of their value which led to a Wild West scenario as the new rich and criminal element vied for power.

All of this is of course now a matter of record, but I believe it is worthwhile and important that I at least set the background to Vladimir Putin’s arrival. He came to power at a pivotal time for Russia. I believe that if anyone with less strength, personal belief or belief in Russia and its people had come to power at this time, Russia’s future would have been very different, and I mean that in terms of being a derogatory step, as the vultures were circling, threatening to derail any chance the ‘new’ country had of regaining its place in the global hierarchy, instead of falling victim to criminals and outside influences.

A great deal is made in the West of Putin’s time in the KGB, but what does that really mean? In short, it means that he is fiercely patriotic, and if Russia needed anyone at that time, it needed someone who was prepared to stand up for Russia’s interests, both economically and socially. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin was that man.

I doubt that Western leaders quite saw it that way. Russia was still on the ropes economically, and the new President had a lot on his plate if he was going to turn things around for this huge country with massive natural resources, which had been mismanaged for years. Putin approached the West with a much more liberal stance than was initially expected, as he wanted to see Russia reintegrate with Europe and the rest of the world following its years on the periphery as the centre of Communism, but, the Communism and the Communist ideology was no longer prevalent in Russia, so why would the world, the West not welcome her with open arms?

Unfortunately, the West, NATO, the US (all basically the same animal) still needed an adversary to satisfy the wanton corporate interests under the protection and sponsorship of a United States government which was not going to allow Russia, with all of her industrial might as a consequence of her vast natural resources  and economic potential, to rock the boat so to speak on the world stage. After all, it was the United States was it not who was the leader of the free world, albeit self appointed.

At this time, China was still emerging, so it was Russia, once again, and unfairly, who was to remain the scapegoat in the grand plan of things for the woes of the world. Unfortunately, President Putin was only just about to learn to what lengths the US and her allies would go to ensure Russia’s continued exclusion.

Having promised to Russia that NATO (read the US) would not advance ‘one inch’ eastward towards Russia and the newly formed Republics following the fall of the Soviet Union, enabling Putin to re establish relations with neighboring countries and the rest of Europe, no sooner had the delegation returned to Moscow when they were to discover that NATO had been offering membership to these very States they had just promised to avoid. The excuse being that NATO operated an open door policy and these independent States had applied for Membership, therefore they were no to be denied.

Given the fact that the West’s enemy, Communism, was no longer present in Europe and therefore no longer a threat, as President Putin rightly was to point out, what was the ongoing purpose of NATO? There was no longer a Warsaw Pact, therefore no longer any threat. And this continued encroachment into Eastern Europe, ever closer to Russia’s borders, despite continued warnings from President Putin over the years continued until we have reached the point we are at today. The Red Line has been reached.

Up until the current Special Operation in Ukraine undertaken at the behest of President Putin, Russia had become, once again, a major player in world politics and undoubtedly an economic force. She had flexed her military muscle in Syria to support Assad, whom she rightly saw as the legitimate leader, and was, and still is, making new friends in both Africa and South America. President Putin has aligned closer to China, and in the current crisis, is also being supported by India, with whom she is increasing ties, much to the chagrin of the US and her allies.

Despite this historic plethora of sanctions piled onto Russia since the Ukraine situation developed, Russia has in no way buckled to this economic pressure, in fact, the ruble has strengthened as the dollar has weakened, and shed has no shortage of customers wishing to import her natural resources. The West meanwhile has been led down a deep hole by what can only be described as incompetent leaders whose plan to cut off the Russian oil supplies to Europe in particular is exploding dramatically in their faces, to the detriment of the poor man in the street as he is now facing exorbitant energy price rises at home, accompanied by ever rising inflation.

Whilst during the recent Covid pandemic, the people of the west were demonstrating against government oppression, for freedom, for the loss of human rights, whilst in Russia, President Putin was saying that there would be no mandatory vaccinations just as this was being discussed in the West by governments who were behaving like fascists. Censoring anyone who professed to have a view contrary to the government narrative. Surely this wasn’t right? I mean, are we not supposed to be the bastions of democracy? Why are we having Freedom marches in the West.

Once again, Russia appeared to be on the outside as the West was being locked down, the people having their individual rights taken from them. All this for a ‘virus’ having over a 99% survival rate? There were those who had taken to social media sites to warn us of the New World Order (NOW), the World Economic Forum (WEF), and a small group of shadow puppeteers who were seeking a one world government. Could this be true? Well now we know this is a very real threat, and we are very aware of who some of the major players are.

Not long ago I read in Russia Today that President Putin had kicked the Rothschild family and their Central Bank out of Russia. Whilst it was reported in the West, not a great deal was made of this in the main stream media (MSM).

Fast forward to only a few days ago and it is reported, not in the MSM, that uber wealthy Jacob Rothschild, undoubtedly one of the cabal running with the one world government, NOW, declares that President Putin is a traitor to the New World Order, and further down the page I read that President Putin has been taken off the World Economic Forum website!!

If ever anyone had any doubts as to President Putin’s motivations, these two events put everything into perspective. Whilst Western leaders are busy trying to crash economies, destroy individual freedoms in line with the policies of a New World Order which only serves the few, the elite, President Putin has stood up and said ‘NO, Russia will not bow down’, and defied the shadow puppeteers. Only recently, US President Jo Biden has said that a New World Order is coming and the US needs to lead it. Wow. What a thought. As if the US is not creating enough problems globally with its Foreign Policies, created for the benefit of the likes of uber investors Blackrock, and Vanguard, who incredibly control most things in the western world today.

What we are seeing in Ukraine is President Putin taking the head off the serpent, but that is a total  no-no in the western MSM. NATO (USA) and her allies are throwing billions of dollars at Ukraine in an attempt to cover up the dastardly deeds of the puppeteers, but there are those who search out the truth, and slowly there are those who are waking up to the realities of what is going on in the world today. President Putin, throughout his tenure as President of The Russian Federation, has always been at least one step ahead of some very average western leaders, and indeed, the shadow puppeteers. His concern being the Russian people, first and foremost.

A major political figure once said that there were two jobs in the world that he would never take as they were both impossible. One being the Pope, the other as the President of Russia.  And while all other politicos on the planet appear to be losing their heads, President Putin plays out his endgame for Russia and her people.

The Rothschild and WEF developments have gained President Putin many new supporters as the West continues its apparently inexorable march towards a One World Order, although President Putin has definitely put a dent in their plans, and he continues to gain support from other countries. Whilst many in the west here are still asleep to events, Russia should be thankful that their President has not only been awake to the plans of the elite few, but has remained at least one step ahead of them.

I could have written far more on the accomplishments of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin in this article, written far more on his vilification at the hands of the western main stream media, written more on Ukraine, but I decided to write on the realities of where all of these events have lead us. Everything we have witnessed these past years has led us to this place. A fight for our freedom. A fight for our identity which the shadow elite are determined to erase. If we in the west are to survive this onslaught, then we too need a man like Putin – to both inspire us, and inevitably to save us.
