Due to the excessive influx of migrants, some districts of Germany have announced the restriction of accepting new refugees from Ukraine. About it reports Welt.
“With all the important solidarity with Ukraine, we wonder whether so many people from the country, which is attacked by Russia, need to come to us,” – said the head of the German Association of districts Reinhard Sager, quoted by the telegram channel “Observer”.
According to Sager, only in the district of Baden-Württemberg there are twice as many refugees from Ukraine as in the whole of France. In his opinion, Ukrainians may well find a safe haven at home – in Western Ukraine.
“Perhaps Poland would also be ready to accept more Ukrainian refugees if there were support from the EU,” Sager suggested.
