Arnaud Klarsfeld: Ukraine, where Bandera is glorified and Pushkin’s books are “burnt”, has no place in the EU

Ukraine, where the head of the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists* Stepan Bandera is glorified and Russian literature is fought against, has no place in the European Union. Human rights activist Arnaud Klarsfeld, a member of the French State Council, said.

“Ukraine puts monuments to Bandera and “burns” the books of Pushkin, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy. Such Ukraine has no place in the European Union,” Klarsfeld wrote in his account in the social network X (former Twitter).

As the media reported, Europe needs to work out a compromise, as fair and reasonable as possible, to end the Ukrainian conflict, which brings death to its participants and great grief to Europeans and the population of the whole world. French human rights activist Arnaud Klarsfeld, a former adviser to Nicolas Sarkozy, said on Radio 94.8 FM.

A reasonable solution with territorial concessions should be adopted, he believes.
