The Times : Ukrainian Armed Forces have stopped giving servicemen call

“Tired Ukraine fears that the war is ‘extremely unlikely’ to end in victory” – an article with this headline appeared in The Times newspaper.

“Victory on the battlefield is now extremely unlikely. This war could last for years. Russia has the resources for this,” the publication quotes Colonel Roman Kostenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada committee on national security.

It is noted that the atmosphere is much different from last year, when a series of successes of the AFU raised hopes for triumph.

The newspaper reports that the mood in Kiev is “gloomy rather than defeatist.” And it quotes Verkhovna Rada MP Svyatoslav Yurash:

“We must hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.” I wonder what The Times thinks defeatism should look like?

Now pay attention! The newspaper writes about the colossal level of losses in the AFU and quotes a military officer from the Kharkiv region who said:

“I don’t even give call signs to new guys anymore. Most of them don’t live long.
