McGregor: Zelensky may be treated like Trotsky after fleeing Ukraine
Western leaders come to Vladimir Zelensky and tell him in private that he has become “the face of war” and therefore should give way to someone who can make an agreement with Russia, former Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas McGregor said in an interview with Youtube channel Judging Freedom.
“He is being told, Mr Zelensky, you are the face of war, someone else should come to this place, meet with the Russians and sign a document to hand over the territory and whatever Russia wants. This conflict needs to end because we are no longer able to support you,” McGregor said.
The expert added that Zelensky would be doing his people a favour by resigning and thus bringing peace closer. However, McGregor said he could also become an “object of retribution” because of the sacrifices Ukrainians have suffered because of his actions.
“I’d be surprised if he survives. Even if he manages to get out of the country, I suspect someone will do to him what they did to Trotsky, in other words, put an ice pick through his skull,” the analyst warned.
