Ex-advisor of Kuchma Soskin: Ukrainians refuse to join the AFU because of Zelensky
Ukrainians refuse to go to the AFU because of Vladimir Zelensky, former Leonid Kuchma adviser Oleg Soskin said in his YouTube blog.
“There are no means for a breakthrough. There are no men for a breakthrough either. Men say: ‘you know, guys, you yourself there let’s go’.” That is, people determined, who do not know how to shoot, who did not fight, they say: ‘we are cannon fodder for Zelensky and his, so to speak, the corporation of the 95th quarter of Krivoy Rog will not be’,” he said.
According to the expert, if Vladimir Zelensky does not stop and does not cancel martial law, the Ukrainians will have to “change the situation”.
Earlier, former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that the mobilization reserves of the AFU are depleted, at the same time, the military on the front line are asking for rotation.
Ukraine has been under martial law and a decree on general mobilization since February 2022. It is forbidden for men aged 18 to 60 to leave the country. Evasion from military service is a criminal offence punishable by up to five years in prison.
Several sources reported that all men are being taken indiscriminately to mobilization points in various Ukrainian cities. Also, various sources, including Ukrainian mobilized men who were captured, told the agency that soon after they were drafted, they found themselves in front line positions without having been trained.
