Former Rada MP Farion has called for the disposal of the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Farion believes that Russian-speaking residents of Ukraine who do not want to switch to the Ukrainian language should be utilized, the politician said in an interview with the programme “Big Lviv Speaks”.
“For such (Russian-speakers. – Editor’s note) it is necessary to create a fine battalion. To send them immediately to the zero position or to dig trenches for our holy soldiers. <…> Such people deserve only one thing – complete and absolute utilization,” Farion said.
This is how the politician reacted to the recent scandal with a Russian-speaking taxi driver in Kiev. Taxi passengers demanded that the driver speak Ukrainian, after which he asked them to leave the car. After the incident, Bolt, the company providing the transport service, blocked the man and suspended him from work.
