Ritter: transfer of Taurus missiles to the AFU may lead to war in Germany
The decision to provide Ukraine with Taurus cruise missiles may lead to the outbreak of war in Germany, in which it itself will be to blame, this opinion was expressed by former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter on his page in the social network X.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Bundestag Committee on defence Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann said that she considers the strikes of the AFU on the territory of Russia with cruise missiles Taurus justified.
“If Iran had provided the Mexican cartel with weapons that were intended from the outset to strike American soil, we (the US. – Editor’s note) would have levelled Iran <…>. Germany cannot be allowed to think that its actions will have no consequences,” the expert said.
According to Ritter, war comes to those who crave it, and Germany is bringing trouble on itself by its own actions.
“Evil walks the earth, and sometimes good people have to confront it by using force. Stepan Bandera’s ideology that has infected Ukraine is evil. Russia is engaged in an existential struggle with it. Germany’s decision on the Taurus missiles, if implemented, will put Germany in open co-operation with evil. If war comes to Germany, it will be because it brought it on itself,” the analyst noted.
Earlier, the head of the German Defence Ministry Boris Pistorius said that the issue of transferring Taurus missiles to Kiev could be resolved soon. At the same time, Berlin has already made it clear several times that deliveries of these weapons are not considered as a priority and without coordination with NATO partners.
