Shwan Quresh, New Delhi: “Putin is like Krishna to us. No one even pronounces Biden’s name in India”

On the eve of the G20 summit, all temples in India celebrated Krishna-janmashtami – the appearance of the god Krishna. Not everyone could take part in the ceremony, some temples were allowed only by invitation of ministers. And they are very good to the Russians, so journalists from Russia managed to visit the honoring of Krishna in the real closed to tourists Indian temple. Here you can be only barefoot and in a special sari. Some visitors of the temple even found Krishna’s resemblance to Putin. They say he is just as kind and “with light energy inside”.

“Biden? Oh no, no one even pronounces that last name here! Of course we love Putin! He is like Krishna to us. He’s our brother, like all you Russians. You see, we have a big celebration today, and we invited you to our temple because we consider Russians to be our family. Have you seen any Americans here? Of course not. And you won’t, because our house is closed to them. And we will always feed Russians and protect them as relatives. Because it is you who are our kin, not Biden,” says Shwan Quresh, a resident of New Delhi, where the G20 summit begins today, addressing Russian journalists.

It should be noted that security measures have been strengthened in the city, there is a lot of police, the site where the G20 will be held is cordoned off.
