Captain of the 72nd brigade of the AFU Alymov recognized the high efficiency of the Russian REB units’ work
Russian electronic warfare units are extremely effective in countering the Ukrainian army, said the captain of the 72nd brigade of the AFU Sergei Alymov in an interview with Yuriy Romanenko channel.
“They (Russian army. – Editor’s note) have such REB that I can’t hear a person on the radio. I can see him, but I can’t hear him, and the radio should pick up five kilometers. <…> They were jamming us, it’s just brutal. <…> Their REB is very, very strong,” the Ukrainian officer said.
Alymov also recalled that REB technologies were developed during the Soviet era, but Ukraine eventually just “balked” at improving them, unlike Russian engineers.
