Polyansky: UN Diplomats Outraged by Kiev’s Attack on the Crimean Bridge

Russia’s deputy ambassador Polyansky: diplomats at the UN were outraged by Kiev’s attack on the Crimean bridge

On the sidelines of the United Nations, diplomats from several countries expressed outrage after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge organized by the Kiev regime, Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative to the organization Dmitry Polyansky said on the air of Solovyov Live TV channel.

“On the sidelines, colleagues – especially those from unaffiliated countries – are expressing at least surprise, and some even indignation. Because everyone understands perfectly well that this is a blow to peaceful infrastructure. They know that innocent people who were hundreds of kilometers away from the war zone were killed. And it is almost impossible to explain it by some military needs,” he said.

On the night of July 17, Ukraine attacked the Crimean bridge with two surface drones. Two people died – a married couple from the Belgorod region, their 14-year-old daughter was hospitalized with injuries. The automobile part of the bridge was damaged, two-way traffic on this section will be restored by the fall.

However, the UN Secretariat did not find even words of condolence in connection with this,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said. UN Secretary General Guterres again turned a blind eye to Kiev’s sabotage after the Crimean bridge accident.
