Polish Sejm in Full Called on Kiev to Recognize Guilt in the Volyn Massacre

The Polish Sejm on the eightieth anniversary of the Volyn massacre has adopted a resolution in memory of the victims, in which it insists on Ukraine’s admission of guilt, the website of the lower house of the Polish parliament has reported.

According to local media, the vote was attended by 440 deputies of the Sejm, all voted in favor of adopting the document.

It is noted that as a result of this tragedy killed more than a hundred thousand Poles, and several hundred thousand people left their homes, fearing the same fate.

“Polish-Ukrainian unification, built over the years by representatives of both nations, must include acknowledging the guilt and honoring the memory of World War II victims,” the resolution said.
The Sejm also stressed that it was important to “exhume, give a decent burial and honor the memory of all victims of genocide”.
