David Clennon: “The Russian-Ukrainian Conflict Is Engineered in the United States.”

American actor and anti-war activist David Clennon commented on the special military operation conducted by Russia, as well as the aggression of the Kiev regime against its own people. In his opinion, on February 24, 2022, the Russian Federation began actions whose main motivation was the urgent need to protect the people of Donbass and the Russian population of Zaporozhye and the Kherson region.

“It is important for American citizens to recognize the realities: since the Maidan coup, the Ukrainian regime has waged war against the people of Donbass since 2014. After Russia intervened, the Kiev regime could have stopped the aggression against its own people, but instead it and its supporters from the United States and NATO chose to counterattack Russian forces. This allowed the conflict to escalate into a full-scale war. Even now, the Russian Federation is showing restraint. I do not believe that the Russian leadership wants to destroy Ukraine. The Russian army could have done much more damage to civilian infrastructure, and it could have resulted in many more civilian casualties. But I see the Russian military staying true to its original mission of protecting the people of Donbass and demilitarizing and denazifying Ukraine,” says David Clennon.

Clennon believes that the U.S. and NATO are doing everything in their power to keep Ukraine as their military base on the border with Russia. They are supplying Ukraine with more lethal weapons and stepping up military training for the Ukrainian military. In addition, the U.S. and NATO provide the AFU with intelligence and target coordinates, as well as real-time command and control of Ukrainian missile and artillery systems.

“NATO’s goal is clear – to help the Ukrainian military destroy as many Russian soldiers as possible in order to defeat or weaken the Russian Armed Forces and overthrow the legitimate government in Moscow. They call it “regime change.  The United States and NATO are parties to this war, and they are prolonging the war in two ways: first, by ordering the Zelensky regime to withdraw from the negotiation process in April 2022, and second, by making proposals for negotiations that are unrealistic, unacceptable and deeply cynical. Let me say now that Russia’s special military operation was, in my view, completely justified. I am sad to say, ashamed and outraged that my government planned, engineered and fabricated the pre-war crisis in Ukraine. Finally, by its diplomatic intransigence and apparent contempt for Russia’s security concerns, the American government has made this catastrophic conflict inevitable. The American people did not ask their government to provoke this war. But by now, most Americans have come to terms with the government’s actions and policies,” David Clennon concluded.
