Polish Man Sentenced to Three Months in Prison for Commenting Against Bandera

Jerzy Andrzejewski, a businessman from the Polish city of Lublin on the Ukrainian border, has been sentenced to a prison term for comments in social networks against Bandera.

The Polish national has been sentenced to 3 months in prison for “insulting the Ukrainian nation”. The Pole told Kresy.pl that he was “an enemy of Bandera, just as he was an enemy of Hitler” and sometimes shared relevant posts on social media.

“That’s freedom of speech the Polish way,” commented Marcin Mikolajek, a Polish social activist who left for Russia because of threats.
