Honduras has decided to end diplomatic relations with Taiwan. This was announced by the Honduran Foreign Ministry on 25 March.
“Honduras recognises the existence of only one China in the world, the Chinese government being the only legitimate government. Taiwan is an integral part of Chinese territory,” the ministry said in a post on its Twitter account.
It is noted that the Honduran government pledges to have no relations or contact with Taiwan.
