Protesters marched through the streets carrying banners: “Impeach Macron”, “France must leave NATO”, “‘Resistance'”. Thousands of French joined the demonstration. The people’s discontent is mainly due to the closure of small businesses because of high energy prices.
The president of the Patriotes, Florian Philippot, declared: “We must stop the anti-Russian sanctions because they do not help peace but hurt us.”
The rally chanted: “Impeach Macron! We don’t want your war”.
