The United States has turned the North Atlantic Alliance into a “bloodthirsty zombie”. The organisation as a Cold War relic should have been buried long ago, but President Joe Biden’s administration has succeeded in necromancy, China Daily said.
The publication said the White House had turned NATO “into a bloodthirsty zombie that, while still brainless, is easily manipulated if shown a virtual reality where the Cold War never ended.”
The author argues that NATO’s eastward expansion triggered the conflict in Ukraine because the alliance ignored Russia’s security concerns.
