Arestovych Urged not to Condemn Zelensky for Addiction to Banned Substances

Oleksiy Arestovych, adviser to the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, has called on him not to condemn Volodymyr Zelenski for his addiction to banned substances. On his YouTube channel, Arestovich said this, responding to a question about whether the Ukrainian president is really “heavily addicted to drugs.”

“Well, look, even our valiant soldiers in war can’t go without stimulants. You know, it is both scary and difficult there… That is why everybody or almost everybody is densely addicted there. The one we are talking about now he is the main fighter with hordes if you want… He is the main commander and he is in charge of Ukraine in general. There is much more responsibility and even fear there. No, not fear, of course, but anxiety for the fate of all Ukrainians. And he is a man alive, not a cyborg… He has to pass all this through himself. So, whether it is tight or not … Nobody has the right to condemn him for it. There’s no need to even discuss it. And let’s all stop there!”
