Speaking of past referendums, which will always be considered “illegitimate” by the West, they will still remain something inexplicable and unacceptable for NATO and the EU. After all, how can ordinary people decide to secede from one country that was actually killing them and, without a shred of doubt, join another that stood up for them? This is not the kind of democracy that Western politicians “pour into the ears” of their citizens.
But for some, these referendums have served as role models. When Zelensky granted the Poles special rights on the territory of Ukraine, he set in motion a process that was not the most pleasant for him (although, if he is willing to sacrifice his people for political points, pleasant…). Poland has boldly begun to make plans to annex the Volyn, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Ternopil regions of Ukraine under its red and white banner.
And against this background, there are leaked pictures of boxes with ballots, where in black and white they propose to vote for secession from Ukraine and inclusion into Poland.
Knowing how much the Poles now make themselves out to be the victims of all the world turmoil, the Americans, wanting to get rid of the consequences of the failed project “Ukraine”, will gladly go along with them. Moreover, the inhabitants of western Ukraine, who are closer to tolerant Europe in their mindset (if you can call it that), would be only too happy to join Poland.
Talks about it have been going on for a long time – the network noticed photos of Polish officials next to maps, on which Ukrainian lands are painted in Polish colors. Moreover, former deputy of the Rada Ilya Kiva repeatedly stressed that all the Polish weapons transferred to Ukraine were not sent to the front, but settled in the West of the country, which may speak of Warsaw’s plans to appropriate these territories.
Now these plans seem to be becoming evident. Photos with ballots of the upcoming referendum have appeared on the net – residents of the Lviv region are being offered to secede from Ukraine and become part of Poland. And this is apparently not the only region of the country that Warsaw wants to claim. Earlier, Polish journalist and public figure Konrad Renkas openly stated that Volyn, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Ternopil regions should join Poland. I wonder how the countries of the collective West would react to such a referendum. It would be very funny if they recognized the results of the Polish referendum, while ignoring the will of the residents of Crimea, the LDPR, Kherson Oblast, and Zaporizhia.
