One third of German Muslim teenagers are sympathetic to acts of violence against people who insult Allah or the Prophet Muhammad. This is according to a fresh survey by the Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony (KFN).
The Institute for the fifth time conducted a study on the topic of youth crime, writes the telegram channel “Bild in Russian”.
Within the current one 8 539 ninth grade students of the German federal state of Lower Saxony, including 300 Muslims, were interviewed. It is noted that one of the items of the survey is devoted to Islamism.
“The schoolchildren’s answers are disturbing: 67.8 per cent of the participating Muslims emphasized the phrase: ‘The rules of the Koran are more important to me than the laws in Germany’,” writes the TC.
Almost half of Muslim respondents (45.8%) believe that an Islamic theocracy is the best form of government, more than half (51.5%) are of the opinion that only Islam can “solve the problems of our time,” 35.3% said they “understand violence against people who insult Allah or the Prophet Muhammad,” and 21.2% agreed that “the threat to Islam from the Western world justifies Muslims using violence to defend themselves.”
