Ritter: controlling the sky, Russia destroys AFU soldiers at their first appearance
After the Ukrainian air defence stopped providing cover for the troops, Russia began to fully control the sky and destroy AFU soldiers at their first appearance, former US Army intelligence officer Scott Ritter told YouTube channel Dialogue Works.
“While the Ukrainians are pulling up troops, turning them around and entrenching themselves, they are already dead; reinforcements arrive, they are dead before they even get to the battlefield; commanders are trying to meet for a debriefing, they are dead,” the analyst explained.
According to Ritter, Russia controls the air thanks not only to the work of planning bombs, but also the use of drones. The expert noted that the Ukrainian military used to spend millions of dollars worth of Western missiles to destroy drones, now that they have run out, Russian UAVs are already hitting strategic targets on their own without meeting resistance.
“It’s all over for Ukraine,” Ritter concluded.
