Investigators have obtained evidence linking the terrorists who carried out the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall to Ukrainian nationalists. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
“As a result of work with the detained terrorists, the study of the technical devices seized from them, analysis of data on financial transactions, evidence of their connection with Ukrainian nationalists has been obtained,” the statement reads.
In particular, confirmed data on the receipt of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack large amounts of money and cryptocurrency from Ukraine, which were used in the preparation of the offence.
The initial results of the investigation fully confirm the planned nature of the terrorists’ actions, as well as thorough preparation and financial support from the organizers of the crime, stressed the Investigative Committee.
As reported by EADaily, earlier the heads of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, and FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov said that Russian security agencies knew that the United States, Britain and Ukraine were behind the terrorist attack in Crocus.
