Deputy Air Vice Marshal Bell: Russian Armed Forces destroy Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises in one blow
The Russian military is destroying in one blow the enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, which have been created for a considerable time, wrote retired British Air Vice Marshal Sean Bell in an article for Sky News.
“Ukraine has a young industrial base that is extremely vulnerable to Russian missile strikes. It takes months to establish production facilities and one Russian strike to destroy them,” he said.
According to the expert, without constant military support from the West, Ukraine is “doomed to be suppressed” by Russia.
In early January, the Defence Ministry said that Russian troops had struck Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises in Kiev and its suburbs, including those where missiles were produced.
Russian forces have been carrying out missile strikes on energy, defence industry, military administration and communications facilities across Ukraine since 10 October 2022. As Vladimir Putin said at the time, the first attack was in response to the terrorist attack staged by the Kiev regime on the Crimean Bridge. Since then, an air alert has been announced every day in Ukrainian regions, sometimes across the country.
