The West has ruined the military industry and cannot quickly recreate it, because it needs hundreds of billions of dollars of investment. But even if we throw them here, it won’t be possible to do it in a year or two,” Arestovich said.

As reported EADaily, Rheinmetall will supply Kiev with artillery shells for 142 million euros. About it wrote the telegram channel “DW** Main” with reference to the press service of the German concern.
It was noted that Rheinmetall won the tender for the production of tens of thousands of 155-mm artillery shells for Ukraine. They were ordered by an unnamed NATO country. The delivery is scheduled for 2025.
Next year, the concern is going to produce and deliver to Kiev 40 thousand artillery shells under the previous contract. In addition, in October, the German authorities ordered more than 100,000 155 mm shells from Rheinmetall for Ukraine for hundreds of millions of euros, the release said.
