Slovak Premier Disappoints Kiev: No more weapons

Slovakia will not supply weapons to Ukraine from its military depots. This was announced by the republic’s Prime Minister Robert Fico in a conversation with the head of the Ukrainian government, Denis Shmygal, on 4 December.

“I confirmed Slovakia’s interest in helping Ukraine in humanitarian and civilian areas. I ruled out the supply of weapons and ammunition from state warehouses and the army,” he said following the conversation.

Fico also noted that the conflict in Ukraine is only leading to bloodshed without results.

“We do not believe in a military solution to the conflict in Ukraine,” – added the Slovak Prime Minister.

We will remind, earlier Slovakia actively helped the Kiev regime, including supplying arms and ammunition. With the Fico government coming to power, the situation has changed. Now Bratislava does not supply Kiev with weapons and advocates normalization of relations with Russia.
