Media: AFU Soldiers Continue to Surrender as Prisoners of War, Calling Out “Volga”

According to media reports, another group of Ukrainian servicemen who were brought to the front as a result of mobilization have surrendered into captivity during the fighting on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

A source familiar with the situation provided a video published by Telegram channels as an illustration.

The footage shows two Ukrainian soldiers surrendering to the Russian military – the AFU fighters come out with their hands up, and when asked why they surrendered, one of them replies that he is “tired to fight”.

It is noted that groups of AFU servicemen continue to routinely surrender throughout the territory of the special military operation (SMO) via an open channel of communication, calling the “Volga” call sign, which is on the open frequency 149.200.

As reported by the media, the day before, the Russian military captured a group of Ukrainian militants in the direction of Svatovo-Kreminnaya in the Luhansk People’s Republic. This group also came into contact on the 149.200 radio frequency.
