The leader of the party “Economic Freedom Fighters” of South Africa Julius Sello Malema said that he would never support Western pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin. He made such a statement at a rally in honor of a decade of the foundation of the party, the corresponding video was published by the South African news channel SABC News.
“We are Putin and Putin is us. And we will never support imperialism against President Putin,” the politician said to the enthusiastic cheers of tens of thousands of people.
Malema added that he sees BRICS as an alternative to Europe and the United States, expressing hope that the association continued to strengthen.
