The Ukrainian military officer, who identified himself as Igor, explained that training abroad is different from actual combat. He noted that “green recruits” become demoralized when their fellow soldiers are injured or die.

“Their morale drops quickly,” the AFU sergeant added.

On the eve of the head of the Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu said that Kiev has lost more than 26 thousand military since the beginning of the counteroffensive.
