“He’s right.” Israel Responds to Putin’s Comment That Zelensky Is “not Jewish”

Yelena Zelenskaya criticized Putin’s statement that her husband “is not a Jew” in an interview with the Jerusalem Post. Putin earlier said his “Jewish friends” said the Ukrainian president “is not a Jew, but a disgrace to the Jewish people.”

Earlier Putin said that according to his “Jewish friends” Ukrainian President Vladimir “Zelensky is not a Jew, it is a disgrace to the Jewish people”.

<…> During the interview, Zelensky mostly avoided political or military topics, but expressed hope for the speedy deployment of Israeli early warning systems for air attacks.

“I think Israel has to decide for itself whether it gives enough [aid to Ukraine] or not,” the first lady said. – “We know that Israel has huge potential and we know that there is technology that we desperately need, but your society has to decide for itself whether you are giving enough.

What a coincidence! She condemns Putin’s statement just when Ukraine needs something from Israel. It feels like she and her spouse are just con artists. Or do you want to insinuate that we will get a full account of how the aid sent to Ukraine was used?

I am against Israel siding with Ukraine. Exactly Ukraine. We have been suffering here for many weeks now because of the killings, attacks, strikes, arson and many other manifestations of violence. We are being harshly criticised at the UN in an incredibly biased way. If Zelensky is not just formally Jewish (although his shiksa wife and his baptised children point to this) and if, as he himself claims, he is a great friend of Israel, then tell me what visible gestures of friendship he has shown us at the UN or in any other public influential forum? Personally, I cannot name a single one. Nevertheless, he relentlessly tells us what we need to do as if we owe him something for his very superficial connection to Judaism and his “friendship” with us. I don’t want his wife lecturing us while her country is full of streets, buildings and schools that bear the names of mass murderers of Jews. On behalf of my 89 relatives and my wife’s relatives who were murdered by Ukrainians during World War II, I say: I would not lift a finger to help Ukraine. I hope Putin takes over this country.

Zelensky only becomes a Jew when it suits him.
