To Bypass the Russians: Ukrainian General Urged the Ukrainian Armed Forces to Follow the Example of the Nazis in 1941

Ukrainians should take the example of the Germans from the times of 1941 – to attack where there is no mass accumulation of Russians. This was stated by the former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the AFU Major General Sergei Krivonos.

“You can dig a thousand trenches, but if there are no people in them, it will be a splash. Recall the example of the Stalin Line, which did not work in 1941 … and the Germans within two or three days crossed them [the defensive lines] and continued their offensive … The main thing for us is to attack where there are no Russians in these trenches,” Krivonos, who is quoted by media, said on air of Ukraine’s Channel 5.

The Russian army, according to the former deputy commander, is far superior to the AFU in its ability to build fortifications on the ground. Moscow has always paid special attention to defensive structures, unlike Kiev, Kryvonos noted.
