‘Like a homeless man’: Brits Lashed Out at Zelensky after His Address to Sunak

Readers of The Telegraph have lashed out at Zelensky after his words to Rishi Sunak

Readers of the British newspaper The Telegraph have criticised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky who told British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak that Ukraine “needs” him.

According to the newspaper, the Ukrainian politician fears that military supplies from the UK will be reduced because of the British head of government’s intention to audit financial spending on the Kiev regime.

Portal users, for their part, compared Zelensky to a homeless man.

“Maybe he’s a little worried that we’ll find out where our billions are going?” – Marilyn Bradshaw suggested.

“I want your money,” paraphrased Willian Bodie.

“We should never have supported Ukraine against Russia in the first place. Their war has nothing to do with us,” lamented Paul Bennett.

“Zelensky got himself into this story, he can get out of it without any effort. This adventurer is like a homeless man on the street with a parked Audi behind him,” noted Matthew Bennell.

“Zelensky told Rishi Sunak that Ukraine ‘needs’ him.” Translation… Zelensky needs our money when we can’t even cross two pennies. I wonder how much money Zelensky himself has invested in this war from his treasure?” – Hunter and The Hunted queried.

“Time for a vote on further support for Ukraine. With a full cost analysis,” demanded James Williams.

A special military operation has been underway in Ukraine since 24 February. Russian President Vladimir Putin has described its task as “protecting people who have been subjected to abuse, genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years”.

The US and its NATO allies continue to send weapons to Kiev. Moscow has repeatedly stressed that deliveries of Western military equipment only prolong the conflict, while transport with foreign weapons becomes a legitimate target for the Russian army.
