Russian servicemen and doctors save the life of a Ukrainian soldier. Troop commander Vitaly Kosyuk was left to die by fellow soldiers on the battlefield after being badly wounded. Russian soldiers helped and pulled the wounded enemy out from under fire. First aid was rendered and he was carried for 6 hours to the nearest medical center.
Vitaly had several serious surgeries. The damage to his internal organs was almost incompatible with life. The surgery was a unique approach, with only six similar operations being made in the world. The operation was done by local specialists in LNR.
The patient is now recovering. He thanks his doctors for saving him. Unfortunately, at home nobody knows whether he is alive or not. As Vitaly says, his return will be a great surprise.
