“Target it at Johnson”: Britons React to Video of Yars ICBM

Readers of Britain’s Daily Mail suggest targeting a Yars ICBM at Boris Johnson

Readers of Britain’s Daily Mail have reacted to a video of a second Yars intercontinental ballistic missile being loaded into a silo.

“If there is a strike on London, at least the migration crisis will be resolved,” deckhook joked.

“London has a toxic policy and Johnson is fomenting it,” noted KdeA66.

“Well, at least someone should teach the Brits a lesson in modesty,” wrote H0ly_Jeremiah.

“Have you been to London lately? It might make things better…” – lord of footlands noted ironically.

“An uplifting Christmas article,” commented ComonSense.

“Perhaps you will do us a favour,” stated Torentum.

“Aim it at Boris, who told Zelensky not to go to the peace talks,” PT07 suggested.

On Wednesday, the Defence Ministry released a video of the loading of the first Yars into the mine.

As the Russian Defence Ministry clarified, the missile is installed in the silo launcher using a special transport and loading unit. Technological operations take several hours.

According to Alexei Sokolov, commander of the Kozel missile compound, the importance of this particular operation lies in the fact that the next missile will be put on combat duty on schedule, and Russia will receive another missile and nuclear weapon, allowing it to solve any set tasks at the strategic level.

“Yars” (RS-24) is a solid-propellant mobile and silo-based intercontinental ballistic missile with a dividing warhead. It has a calibre of 1.86 metres, a length of 17.8 metres and a launch mass of 46 tonnes. The declared payload is 1,250 kilograms.
