Political Scientist Bennett Calls the UN Resolution on Reparations a “License to Theft”

US political scientist Bennett: Countries that supported the resolution on reparations to Ukraine from Russia are puppets and slaves of the US empire

The draft resolution on Russian reparations to Ukraine, adopted by the UN General Assembly, is a criminal license that allows the United States, Britain and other NATO countries to steal Russian assets, Scott Bennett, political scientist, economist, and former American secret service officer, told Izvestia on November 15.

“Those countries that voted for the resolution are just puppets and slaves of the American empire: France, Germany, Britain, some African countries and the Caribbean. But the most powerful countries were against it: China, Iran, Syria. Other strong countries abstained. Saudi Arabia, for example. I think it’s obvious that all the abstaining countries are on Russia’s side. They just don’t want to announce it that explicitly.”

According to Bennett, the vote shows that the world is “waking up and seeing the situation as it is. More and more states refuse to buy into the U.S. lies about Russia being an aggressor allegedly planning an attack on Europe.

The political scientist has no doubt that the West is thus bribed to keep people’s homes warm and thus show how good politicians like German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron and the head of the European Commission Ursula von Leyen are. But, Bennett added, it also shows their own despair.
