65 Thousand People Protested in Chisinau: Eggs and Condoms with Water Fly to the Police

In a protest in Chisinau on October 30, participated 65 thousand people. People were demanding the resignation of Moldovan President Maia Sandu.

The protesters gathered at the building of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and planned to march through the central street of the city, but the police put a cordon in their way. Judging by the footage, the law enforcers acted harshly: knocking men down and taking them to police vans. In turn, the protesters throw eggs and even condoms filled with water at the law enforcement officers.

As of this moment, it is known that Valery Klimenko, an advisor of the SHOR party,  one of the leaders of the opposition,  was detained (in a beige jacket on the video).

After a clash with the police, the elderly politician had a heart attack and had to be hospitalized.
